Whether it be for style or ease of use, we tend to have a preferred brand and/or model of computer, tablet and phone, so why should your choice of legal software provider dictate what device you use?
Having legal software that is available to use across all your devices means that you should be able to access your case management system on the one that suits your needs at any given time. Only then can your system be described as agile in the truest sense.
The advantages of having a ‘bring your own device’ scheme in the workplace are well documented. Among other things, a well thought out BYOD policy can offer: –

According to astudy released by Cisco’s Internet Business Solutions Group, due to the price of data plans and devices added to increased productivity U.S. companies can save as much as $3,150 (over £2,450) per employee per year if they implement a “comprehensive” BYOD program.
The relatively simple move to a BYOD workplace enables employees to make the choice of which device they use. 40% of the employees consider it very important to be able to use personal devices at work, which is something that can’t be ignored.
