Consultancy

Tier one provides an initial consultation to cover advice and guidance on the basics of migrating financial data.

Consultancy includes: 

  • Advice on what will need reviewing in your current system before migration begins including SRA Accounts Rules, matter balances, archived files, bank balances, trial balance, P&L, VAT
  • Guidance to ensure your numbers balance
  • Advice on the data and information to provide Osprey
  • Guidance on how to access the data required in your existing system to provide to Osprey
  • Suggested reports you’ll need in Osprey
  • Explanation of the overlap method to keep the accounts up-to-date during the process

 

 

Project

Ongoing project management during the migration to help facilitate the move to Osprey.

  • Project management assistance throughout the procedure
  • Working closely with Osprey during the project and fielding any accounts queries
  • Working directly with your accounts department ensuring the correct reports are complied in the correct format
  • Help to ensure all reports balance and reconcile properly

System utilisation

Getting the most from Osprey requires full system utilisation. The Law Factory will check-in with the team to ensure full understanding of the accounting features and recommend training where applicable.

Best practices

Standardisation and consistency maximises efficiency, so The Law Factory will suggest best practices for your accounting process and use of Osprey helping to embed solid protocols for quality and compliance.

Period end procedures

    You’ll be fully supported by our in-house implementation team, who are experts in Osprey and law firm operations.

    You’ll be provided a detailed project plan and be guided and supported by our in-house, Price 2 qualified project managers.

    You’ll also receive priority support during go-live and then unlimited telephone-first support via our UK-based support team afterwards.

  • Is Osprey set up for us ready for go-live?

    Platform set-up and configuration is included, as standard, in all implementation projects. Guided by your firm’s firms processes and requirements, your dedicated project manager will configure your system and set you up for success.

    Set-up includes users, branches, departments, custom data fields, work types, charge-our rates, permissions, banks, document templates, workflows, integrations and more.

    To ensure your accounts are in order for go live, we’ve partnered with The Law Factory who can offer consultancy or fully managed services.
