In the welcome session you’ll meet your implementation team, and we’ll begin to better understand your business – what you hope to achieve, you firm’s goals, your current processes. We’ll take you through the key project stages and outline initial expectations and requirements to get the project off to the best possible start. We’ll also discuss options for importing existing data and how you want to go live.
2. Existing process review
Your Osprey project manager will shadow your teams, across all departments, to get a deeper understanding of your current operations. This has three major benefits. Firstly, it helps us gather the information we need to configure the Osprey system to your needs. Secondly, it helps us tailor the training sessions for your team based on their current technical knowledge and software use. And lastly, it helps us to identify potential improvements to your procedure that’ll help you increase efficiency and meet your goals.
3. Project planning
This is where the details begin, and a full project plan and scope can be created. Data migration, system configuration and detailed project processes will be discussed and agreed. By the end of the project planning meeting, all project actions, responsibilities, and deliverables are agreed to everyone is prepared.
4. System configuration
Using the information we gathered during the project planning stage, our team will set up your database and configure all the necessary settings, features, and functionality specific to your firm. Part of our initial setup includes preparing your letterheads, two standard documents and your bill templates to get you started.
5. Data migration
We customise the data migration based on the format and complexity of the data you wish to import. We have migrated data from a wide range of case management solutions, for hundreds of firms, so you can be confident your data is in safe hands. Before the data is imported it goes through verification and import procedures for quality assurance.
6. Training
Your firm will have access to our training site so you can feel confident navigating the system, which can alleviate any pre-go-live worries. Your agreed training plan that will take users through role-based online training courses to help them understand the fundamentals of the system. We can also arrange on-site training days and you’ll have 24/7 access to the Osprey Academy, how-to guides and tutorial videos.
7. Go live
You’ll have priority access to our implementation and support team when you go-live to ensure any issues or challenges are ironed out and questions can be answered quickly. Depending on the size and complexity of your firm, you could also choose to go live with elements of Osprey separately. The choice is yours so you can be confident your migration meets the goals of your firm.
8. Post-implementation review
We’ll allow time for things to settle across your firm and enable users to gain everyday experience in using Osprey and then we’ll do a post-implementation review. This enables firms to address any current challenges or book additional training where needed. And it allows us to offer further advice or best practices for making better use of Osprey and it’s features. Continued support and training will always be available, at no additional cost, to all users of Osprey to improve ROI.
